| Laveno is the last station of the Ferrovie Nord railway line which comes from Milan. The town hosts a wide port from which the ferries linking the Lombard and the Piedmont shores arrive and depart. The fort on the top of the hill is testimony to its importance. For a long time Laveno was famous for its Italian Pottery. It is a town which aims to welcome tourists who want to experience the beauty of Lake Maggiore, its beautiful views and the stunning coasts. |
