Lake Varese is overlooked by the rolling hills of the Campo dei Fiori national park.
There is a small island on the western shore, the Isolino Virginia. Towards the south,
roads and pathways lead to an area with many marsh plants, small lakes and ponds.
Among the wonderful views that different parts of the Varese area offer, Lake Varese,
stands out both for its attraction as well as its vivid colors with the magnificent Alps
in the background
As a the tourist you can
discover the secret life
of the lake, its views, its
plentiful vegetation, and its
beautiful fauna. The lake is
home to sports like canoeing
and sailing. Around there are
walks for trekking and cycling.
Places to visit are Schiranna
and Gavirate, with picnic
areas with quiet secluded
spaces for watching the diverse
wildlife.

Varese is one of the smallest
and most beautiful provinces
in Italy. One of the many great
things concerning Varese is its
relatively close proximity to
the enchanting Italian Lakes.
