Varese Gliding Club.
On the shores of Lake Varese is the home of the Gliding Club Aero Adele Orsi. It is the largest gliding clubs in the Italy. Its airfield is in Calcinate Del Pesce and is popular among gliding enthusiasts from all over the world. Varese is considered one of the best areas in Europe for gliding thanks to its position among the hills and lake with Campo dei Fiori Park and Alpine ranges in the background.
The Club has a restaurant and a bar, a room for billiards and an outdoor swimming pool.
On the 29 April Varese is hosting the Second Category Event of the 2006 national championships.
